Scooby-Doo Mystery Masquerade

After setting up the modular board, players will be able to move Team Scooby-Doo and the Villains around the masquerade ball trying to discover who the culprit is; make wild accusations against the other players, to gain information about the real culprit;
or play Action/Reaction Cards. Once a player thinks they have discovered all the possibilities, they can choose to reveal who they think the real culprit is. But each player only gets one shot, so players should be confident in their guess – get it wrong and they won’t be able to guess again.

If a culprit is revealed, or if all players have exhausted their attempt to reveal the culprit, the game ends. Players score points based on how well they deduced information during the game. Even if a player guessed the wrong culprit, they could still win by gaining more points than the other players. Whoever has accumulated the most points wins!

Scooby-Doo Mystery Masquerade takes social deduction to a new level in this classic – whodunit style game. With a modular game board the combinations for play are endless. It shows how truly timeless Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Velma, Fred and Daphne really are. Our take on classic social deduction goes beyond just finding the thief, you also gain points for keeping your tiles secret, and by using clue tokens effectively. A well played ZOINKS! or a RUH-ROH! can have great impact, while JINKIES! can turn the tide in the game.

As we went through the design process there was no question that we wanted to use beautifully crafted character standees with full color, double-sided printing. Each character and villain has their own unique identity to celebrate. Players really enjoy moving them around the board without giving too much away – because wild accusations and plotting against your opponents are all part of the fun!
