The Resurrection Gaming Company is made up by a network of talented Designers, Artists, and Partners that are pooled together for the success of individual projects.
There are two main kinds of projects that we pursue:
- Games designed to engage fandom in tabletop play
- Matching game designers with quality IP, artists to turn their ideas into real, marketable games.
Our Design Philosophy
We are committed to a fan-first approach with a design philosophy that centers around thematic gameplay and storytelling. We also enable the continued enjoyment of popular collectible games or game mechanics that have gone out of print. This approach is built on pillars of playability and collectability.
Playability
When designing new games, our philosophy is to focus on the stories and characters that fans adore most, enabling a retelling and expansion of the lore connected with the source material. We always make sure there are fun, novel mechanics that could only exist in that world.
When restoring out of print games, gameplay will typically be based on the same mechanics of the original game. This will include a review of all previously released game-pieces, boards, cards, rules and functions in preparation for the first series release. We also do our best to enable backwards compatibility – meaning that collectors will be able to use original game pieces that have been in circulation with a new harmonized rulebook and new series.
Expansion series are planned to introduce new characters, new gaming concepts and expand the storytelling within the canon. We believe that the fans have grown to love and respect the hard work of everyone involved in the development of these stories. Those entrusted to contribute to that story must be good stewards of the dedication fans provide.
Collectability
For trading card games: a new rarity matrix and new booster pack formats for selling each future series will be created to maximize the value of collecting the cards.
For board games: limited edition versions of the game and expansions are produced to enable collectors to maximize the value of their investment. Deluxe editions with upgrade components and high quality accessories are added to increase collectability and value.

Selecting Projects
Our process enables a wide fan base to continue to play within the original gaming ecosystem while expanding and creating sustainable gameplay that can continue to grow as new content is developed.
With the development of new content, the potential for new expansions beyond a game’s original release are key criteria when selecting a project to work on.
Each project comes with inherent risks and uncertainties, which could have a material adverse effect on the success of the business, future financial condition, results of operations and cash flows. These include strategic, operational, global economic, financial, governmental, regulatory and legal risks related to our business. For these reasons we only take on projects where after assessing the market and legal background we feel there is an opportunity to create value for fans and sustain gameplay for future generations.
If you are interested in pitching us a project remember these 2 key criteria:
- What is the story, characters and world you wish to work in?
If you are building it, we need to see it’s potential. If you have an idea for an existing IP, we can probably help gain the rights needed to produce it. - Is there a game there?
There are many types of games that could be designed. We always make sure there are fun, novel mechanics that could only exist in that world.
Joining our Network
We are constantly on the lookout for new designers, artists, professionals and partners to join our network. We are a mobile first company – so where our computer is that day, is where our offices are.
Our network isn’t just game designers – there is a lot more needed to make a game successful than just design. If you specialize in marketing, supply chain management, retail or consumer sales, product management, legal services, finance or other disciplines and want to participate in a project, please let us know.
